Using organic land management has benefits in addition to saving water, saving money, and promoting health. Plants just grow faster in healthy, chemical-free soil. In one project designed by InterNatural Harvesters, the house was against a steep ravine, and only had a front yard. The landscape design called for a living fence in front of the house. The living fence would shield the house from the street and create a lush and private front yard. Here are small pictures of the house when it was first planted, and then just one year later.
